One of the best moments I had this year at Partner Day in Boston, was getting to see Greg from Concentrate in New Zealand share his tips on specialisation with other agency owners. 

Congratulations you own an agency, that’s a big deal.

To make your team successful, you need to have your processes in place. I bet you can imagine your agency, a place where everyone does things like they want to. No rules, processes or procedures in place. Customers are complaining, employees are complaining. You, in the middle of it all. No control.

One of the first questions we ask agencies that we work with is “What is your agency positioning statement”? We are still finding that more than 9 out of 10 people say that they either started and did not finish, or never got around to doing it as they were too busy selling and running the business.

Growth is a very subjective word and can mean different things to each digital agency owner. Maybe you need to grow a particular part of your agency, develop as an agency owner, or grow your whole company?
