For those who are going . . . have you got your sessions booked? meetings in the calendar? comfortable shoes?
Have a read of my post from a few weeks ago if you would like some tips . ..
Not everyone in your agency can go so how can you make your team at home feel a part of the experience?
1. Have a monitor set up for the live stream talks.
2. Follow along on Social Media #inbound18
3. Create content, videos, blog posts at Inbound and send back to the team to curate and share online. Give each person a topic or task to complete as part of your agency marketing strategy.
4. Set aside time for a lunch and learn when you return to the office on your key learnings from Inbound 2018 and how it will impact your business in 2019 and beyond.
5. Make a list of ideas that you would like to implement and then park them, too often Agency Owners return from Inbound like fizzy coke bottles ready to burst with "great ideas" and the rest of the team can get pulled in all different directions. Focus on finishing out 2018 strong for your business in sales and customer retention. Then early 2019 review what ideas you had post Inbound and select a few that you think are valid to pursue. Discuss them with your team and pick 2 or 3 max to get moving with in the new year.
6. Make a plan for how you can bring more of the team with you to Inbound next year, set goals on revenue, profit, retention so the team can aim for them, book the accommodation and flights early to make the most cost savings. It can be a good incentive for the whole agency.
